Join us for a free evening at the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture.
Attend the conversation, Manifest | Thirteen Colonies Book Launch and Conversation, with photographer Wendel White, Deborah Willis, Leigh Raiford, Cheryl Finley, and Brenda Tindal, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm ET.
Visit the exhibition Manifest: Thirteen Colonies, featuring photographs of African American material culture housed in collections throughout the thirteen original United States colonies and Washington, D.C.
Take a moment to write about your experience seeing the images featured in the exhibition, guided by writing prompts provided by the museum or your own reflections.
Try your hand at photographing objects guided by photographer Rebecca Lajoie, educator at Hunt’s Photo & Video.
