It’s no surprise that the power of live theatre is especially difficult to experience without the ability to gather together. In the face of these extraordinary circumstances, we're expanding our programming to reach beyond the walls of our theaters and into your homes. We hope this series will present a new, unique opportunity to share stories that reveal and deepen our connection to each other, even as we must stand apart. Welcome to Together Apart!


ArtsEmerson is one conduit for connection. We are the infrastructure. The platform. And so here we are, online and on the case, with a new pathway to connection.


Whether you’re one of our most engaged audience members or brand new to ArtsEmerson, we’re inviting you to experience some of our favorite past productions from around the world streamed directly into your living room. Together Apart will give audiences access to offer high-quality archival videos and unique opportunities to hear from the artists behind them. This series will also include two town hall conversations with artistic director David Dower and executive director David C. Howse. In this time of showing care by keeping apart, we are so grateful and excited to be able to offer opportunities to connect through stories and conversation until we can gather in our theatres once again.
