SESSION DESCRIPTIONS
The Future of Art and Tech AMA
Art and technology coexist everywhere: 3D printed sculptures, video game design, interactive installations, and augmented reality inviting you to learn more about a painting in a museum. Join us for a short talk about the future intersections of art and technology. How has technology changed the way we interact with art, and vice versa? How will the relationship continue to change?
Art Ventures: How I Built It
In this session, artist-entrepreneurs will meet to share a bit about their businesses and discuss how they got them off of the ground. Join us as they chat about their creative and entrepreneurial background, what led them to the work they’re pursuing now, the challenges they’ve faced in getting their business up and running, and what their day-to-day looks like now.
Resources for Artists
Whether you’re interested in heading up a public arts program, expanding arts education in your area, or anything in between, you’re going need some funding.
Join Emily Ruddock, Executive Director of MASSCreative, as she brings her extensive experience working with nonprofit organizations and advocating for public policy increasing Massachusetts’ investment in the arts to talk about what resources are available to creatives who are looking for ways to bring their community together around the arts, and what we can all do to help increase funding.
Social Video Marketing for Artists in Good Times and Bad
Are you a tireless self-promoter, or do you feel shy about sharing your work? Are you comfortable in still-photo land and feel curious about what makes good video content? Whether you love it or hate it, the fact is that we’re increasingly learning about products, services, and artists through social media. The right content can stop your target audience in their feed-scrolling tracks, getting you follows, shares, and sales.
