About Arts and Ales: Summer Solstice featuring Alan Goodrich and Band
Raise your glass for an art-inspired beer tasting! DeCordova’s signature event is back with seasonal beers from a local craft brewery accompanied by your favorite sculptures, live music by Alan Goodrick & Friends Band, and a view of the setting sun. This family-friendly event features beer and sculpture pairings for a playful way to see familiar sculptures in a new way. Cheers!
Alan Goodrich & Friends Band is a group of musicians who have been friends and played music together since their days at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School. The band plays original and cover rock, funk, blues and more. Alan Goodrich is also the lead singer of Alan and The Alligators has performed live with: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members The Platters, T Lavitz (of The Dixie Dregs and Jefferson Starship fame), The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, Greg Hawkes (of The Cars), Dave Mattacks (of Paul McCartney and Jethro Tull fame) and others. Don’t miss a great night of fun and live music with Alan Goodrich and Friends Band!
Families welcome–this event is for all ages, but you must be 21 or older to drink alcohol. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
Your ticket includes admittance to the Event – Park Grounds (Museum is closed), Music by Alan Goodrick & Friends Band, and 4 tasting pours of the beer of their choice with tasting notes, additional beer will be available for purchase.
