Join The Umbrella Visual Arts program for an introduction to the work of its 2018-2019 Artist-in-Residence, Nicholas Mancini on Thursday June 6 from 1:00 – 2:00PM at 40 Stow Street, Concord MA.
About the 2018-2019 Artist-in-Residence
Mancini received his BFA from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA in 2009. He has been an apprentice to Odd Nerdrum in Stavern, Norway as well as an Artist-in-Residence at Manifest Gallery, Cincinnati, OH. In 2015 Nicholas was awarded an Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant as well as a Constantin Alajalov Scholarship. In 2016 he received the Boston University Anderson Ranch Printmaking Scholarship. Nicholas finished his MFA at Boston University in 2017, receiving the John Walker Graduate Award. Nicholas teaches at Boston University as well as the Cambridge Center of Adult Education.

Mancini’s culminating exhibition at The Umbrella will take place, August 1 – September 15 2019, with an Opening Reception August 9, 7-9PM.
