Each play-based hour of ARTfull Play features a unique opportunity to engage with art, stories, materials, nature, and new friends. The conversation and stories start just after 10:30 followed by close looking at the art and creations inspired by what we’ve seen and heard.
EACH MONTH’S INSPIRATION:
January – Dan Graham’s Crazy Spheroid – Two Entrances
February – Richard Rosenblum’s Venusvine
March – Arlene Shechet’s Tall Feather
Best for children ages 1-4 accompanied by a caregiver, older and younger siblings are welcome.
We’ll hold the program in the Park (light drizzle or shine), gathering near a different sculpture each month. In the event of a cancellation, those registered will receive an email.
Family programs are designed to welcome a wide range of ages and abilities. Please contact us to discuss reasonable adaptations to benefit anyone in your group.
Email Sarah Brockway, [email protected] if the price of the ticket is cost-prohibited for your family.
Pre-ticketing is required in order to anticipate capacity. Your ticket includes admission to deCordova’s campus, so please feel free to explore the grounds before or after the program. You’re welcome to picnic in the Park. Bring your own picnic or pick up a bite to eat at the Twisted Tree Café, and stop by The Store for a gift or souvenir.
