Investigate ideas and unique materials inspired by themes and artists on view in the Sculpture Park. Find your own approach or collaborate to construct creative sculptures. Join us for a short time or the entire drop-in window.
EACH MONTH’S INSPIRATION:
January – Dan Graham’s Crazy Spheroid – Two Entrances
March – Arlene Shechet’s Tall Feather
For any age and an accompanying adult – all are welcome.
We’ll hold the program in the Park (light drizzle or shine), gathering near a different sculpture each month. In the event of a cancellation, those registered will receive an email.
Family programs are designed to welcome a wide range of ages and abilities. Please contact us to discuss reasonable adaptations to benefit anyone in your group.
Email Sarah Brockway, [email protected] if the price of the ticket is cost-prohibitive for your family.
Pre-ticketing is required in order to anticipate capacity. Your ticket includes admission to deCordova’s campus, so please feel free to explore the grounds before or after the program. You’re welcome to picnic in the Park. Bring your own picnic or pick up a bite to eat at the Twisted Tree Café, and stop by The Store for a gift or souvenir.
