The nonprofit hunger-relief farm Gaining Ground will hold kick-off festivities for Art on the Farm—a celebration of art, nature, and the importance of food access—on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 10:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at its site on 341 Virginia Road in Concord.


Everyone is invited to tour the fields, enjoy the inspiring artwork, learn about the farm’s hunger-relief work and volunteer opportunities, and take part in seed-planting activities for younger visitors.


Gaining Ground will hold guided farm tours at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. and will host a booth downtown as a part of Concord Ag Day festivities.
