A full day of visual arts at historic City Square Park, Charlestown! 35 quality juried artists include painters, ceramicists, leather artisans, jewelers, printmakers, glass blowers and more.


Locally made art is available for purchase with a range in pricing from very affordable small works and gift-sized items, to higher-end and larger original pieces. Art in the Park in Charlestown has been running for more than 20 consecutive years each September, and is a well-loved event in our community. Not too large and overwhelming, while offering enough variety to stay for 1 hour or more, you can meet the artists, chatting directly with those who make their own work.


Free to attend and browse, family friendly, on the Freedom Trail and tourism trolley circuits. Very close to cafés and restaurants, the Charlestown Navy Yard, and other popular local sites within a short walking distance. A portable restroom facility is provided on site for guests.
