Creative Action Institute proudly invites art enthusiasts, activists, and philanthropists to a remarkable event that uplifts the power of art for social change - "Art for Action." This three-week online benefit auction, taking place from September 7th to September 28th, celebrates the power of art to forge a more equitable and sustainable world. The public is invited to a live online event on September 28th at 7pm EST to meet the artists and hear how they use art for social change.
The event features the exceptional works of nine emerging artists representing seven countries: Ecuador, Guatemala, Ghana, Cameroon, Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya. These visionary artists have embarked on a profound collaboration with Creative Action Institute's groundbreaking programs, leveraging their art to empower participants as grassroots advocates, catalyzing change within their local communities.
Your participation in this event will directly support Creative Action Institute's transformative programming, making it possible for girls, women, and grassroots environmental leaders in remote regions of Latin America and Africa to access participatory and creative leadership training and resources. These programs empower them to take the lead on advocating change around gender equity and climate justice in their communities. The impact of these initiatives is far-reaching, addressing critical issues such as gender-based violence, adolescent pregnancy, child marriage, deforestation, pollution, and the preservation of wildlife and biodiversity.
Bidding will commence on September 7th, allowing patrons to engage in a spirited competition for artwork until the closing of the auction on September 28th at 9 pm EST. Proceeds from art sales will be dedicated to supporting both Creative Action Institute and the partner artists, amplifying their mission of fostering community-driven solutions and advancing gender equity and sustainability.
