Precursor to the Dell Technologies Championship, the three-mile charity walk around TPC Boston will raise funds to support treatment for childhood cancer
WHAT: Golf fans are invited to participate in the first-ever Arnie’s March Boston to benefit MassGeneral Hospital for Children Cancer Center on Saturday, August 26 at TPC Boston in Norton, Massachusetts. In honor of late golfing legend Arnold Palmer, Arnie’s March is a three mile walk around the front 9 holes of TPC Boston that officially kicks-off the Dell Technologies Championship. Participants will have the unique opportunity to experience TPC Boston while supporting a great cause. Funds raised through Arnie’s March Boston will benefit the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic at the MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) Cancer Center in advancing innovative research projects aimed at better understanding and treating childhood cancers.
The Dell Technologies Championship has been the premier professional sports event on Labor Day weekend in the greater Boston area for 14 years. Since 2003, the championship has generated more than $27 million for local & national charities. The Dell Technologies Championship will take place August 30 – September 4.
