Join us Tuesday May 1st from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm for a fantastic Argentine Wine Tasting featuring Patricia Ortiz, President and Owner of Tapiz & Zolo Wineries. A dynamic leader in the South American wine industry, Patricia will share details of grape growing and winemaking at her world-renowned properties.
Tapiz and Zolo Wineries utilize grapes from estate vineyards throughout the Mendoza appellation to craft terroir-driven expressions that offer excellent value to the consumer. Both wineries feature high elevation plantings on some of the best sites in the country, with an array of grape varietals planted including the signature grape of Argentina, Malbec. Both wineries are incredibly technologically advanced, and head winemaker Fabian Valenzuela expertly blends the wines to express a well-balanced and fruit-forward style. Consultant Jean Claude Berrouet, formerly of Petrus in Bordeaux, assists Fabian with production of the Tapiz “Las Notas” as well as the “Alta Collection” wines.
