Join the Boston Public Library for a jazz performance by Anna Harris and Diana Fischer as part of their Concerts in the Courtyard Series, which is sponsored by Bank of America.
Concerts are open to in-person audiences. No registration is required. Due to the heat emergency, the BPL is moving this performance inside to the Rabb Lecture Hall in the Lower Level of the Johnson Building, which currently has space for up 150 attendees on a first come, first served basis.

Violinist/vocalist Anna Harris recently graduated from Boston University School of Music, where she studied Violin Performance under Dana Mazurkevich. Anna is an active soloist, teacher, chamber, and orchestral musician, and has enjoyed performing in beloved venues such as Benaroya Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, and the Brevard Music Center.
Pianist/vocalist Diana Fischer received a Bachelor's in Jazz Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music where she studied with Tom McKinley. Diana has been an active performer in the Boston area for years. Venues she has performed in include a 10-year stint at the Top of the Hub, as well as the Oak Bar, the Bay Tower Room, the Parker House, and Sculler's Jazz Club.
Diana and Anna first began making music together at the Sunset Series, a weekly summer series of live music in historic Fort Hill's Highland Park. They explore a unique blend of jazz and classical repertoire, expanding on principles of rhythm, sound, and timbre across these genres.
