Three Latinx organizations in Massachusetts, Hyde Square Task Force, Amplify Latinx, and Ágora Cultural Architects, come together to keep Latino culture buzzing with #CadenciaLatina: Performances from home.
On June 28th at 3PM, Ana Masacote will be giving a live ballroom dance lesson. This is a rare opportunity to learn dance from an award winning dancer and a proud international ambassador of Latin dance and music. With more than 20 years of experience, Masacote began dancing at the age of 5 and since then has broken down cultural barriers through her powerful dance performances. Ana Masacote was featured in La Voz Del Mambo Magazine, Cuerpo Magazine, the Dallas Morning newspaper, and has been a guest of honor and judge at international dance festivals and competitions. Additionally Ana Masacote co-founded Mascote Entertainment in 2003 and has been able to spread her talents and passion for salsa to more than 30 countries across 5 continents. Tune in on Ana Masacote’s Facebook Page and enjoy this amazing performance from the safety of your home.

While we have your attention ;) : Let’s make sure Latinxs are seen and heard every day. Take the opportunity to visit https://2020census.gov/ and fill out the Census. Latinxs make up an undercounted group, which puts us at a disadvantage that could mean less funding and political voice.
