Popular at birthdays and busking on summer afternoons in front of Somerville ice cream shops, "Amy Plays Uke" (formerly "the Girl With the Uke") -- AKA acclaimed songwriter Amy Kucharik -- brings the party for kids AND their adults. The Girl with the Uke was inspired by Amy's love of the Muppets, Shel Silverstein, and all things uke. Combining kids' classic singalong songs and hilarious original tunes with her signature ukulele swing and one-woman band (including mouth trumpet and foot percussion), Amy will have kids of all ages giggling and dancing in no time.
