This December, Ames Boston Hotel, located in the heart of Downtown Boston, is excited to welcome city dwellers and visitors alike for an exclusive Holiday Mixology Class hosted in conjunction with Boston-based Bully Boy Distillers. From bartending techniques and terminology to the proper methods for shaking and pouring drinks, guests will have the opportunity to learn about the art of cocktail creation from an experienced mixologist as part of the hotel’s weekly “Find Your Boston Sips” events that take place every Wednesday.


Tickets to this event will be $20, which includes a spot in the seminar-style class where guests will learn all about Bully Boy Distillers, the spirits they’ll be using, and step-by-step instructions on how to prepare three unique cocktails. Attendees will have the chance to sample the tasty concoctions and will even collect personal recipe cards for recreating them on their own. Guests are also encouraged to bring a new unwrapped gift to be donated to The Home for Little Wanderers, an organization that works to help vulnerable families and keep children safe in their own communities, and their Big Wishes Gift Drive. Accepted gifts include gift cards, baby supplies, toys such as board games or Legos, arts and crafts supplies, winter coats, household items and more.


After a night of spirited sipping, attendees will be equipped with new skills to impress friends and family at their own holiday parties. The hotel is looking forward to warming up and spreading some holiday cheer with its guests on this very festive evening!
