National nonprofit American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC) announced today it is hosting a free financial education webinar titled ‘A Parent’s Guide: Teaching Kids Financial Literacy’ on Tuesday, April 13 from 12:00 to 1:00pm.
Hosted by Community Educator Peter Mullen of American Consumer Credit Counseling, the webinar will discuss the best ways parents can teach children various financial literacy topics. Mr. Mullen will explain the key components of financial literacy in an easy-to-understand way. The webinar will provide parents with the tools they need to educate their children on these topics.
Mr. Mullen has served in a variety of financial services and training roles for over three decades for for-profit and non-profit organizations. His financial services experience began with program and project management on an institution level, but Mr. Mullen has most enjoyed his recent work directly with people in need of homeownership, financial literacy, and counseling. Currently, Mr. Mullen is passionate about improving people’s lives through education, speaking at neighborhood groups, and advocating sound financial well-being techniques.
