National nonprofit American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC) announced today it is hosting its second free financial education webinar on ‘Understanding and Managing Credit’ on Thursday, March 4 from 11:00am to 12:00pm ET.
Hosted by Community Educator Peter Mullen of American Consumer Credit Counseling, the webinar is designed to provide participants with a healthy respect for the power of credit on their financial journey, and critical steps they can take to improve their credit standing. Participants will examine the perspectives that both the lenders and borrowers bring to the equation on which much of one’s financial access, well-being, costs and even reputation depend. Mr. Mullen will also discuss how consumers have choices on how and where they can leverage credit to their advantage or ignore it to their peril, by managing their credit reporting and scores. These webinars are free and open to the public. To register, visit https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/418257934641745165.
Mr. Mullen has served in a variety of financial services and training roles for over three decades for for-profit and non-profit organizations. His financial services experience began with program and project management on an institution level, but Mr. Mullen has most enjoyed his recent work directly with people in need of homeownership, financial literacy, and counseling. Currently, Mr. Mullen is passionate about improving people’s lives through education, speaking at neighborhood groups, and advocating sound financial well-being techniques.
