Join the American Cancer Society (ACS) Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Boston team on Friday, June 14, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. to raise funds and bring awareness to breast cancer in the community. ACS and local vendors will be set up at the Brattle Plaza, hosting a live band, a pink wine garden, an 8-foot inflatable pink chair, yoga, and more. Vendors such as Noir, Grafton Street Pub, and the Hourly Oyster Bar are selling special pink drinks where the proceeds go to Breast Cancer research. Buildings will be lit pink, and local vendors will provide pink giveaways after purchase. Vendors participating:
- Source – 80% of every “Forever Her” cocktail sold will be donated to strides (6/14 – 6/16).
- Breathe Yoga – at Brattle Plaza.
- Playa Bowls - $1 of every promotional pink bowl sold donated to Strides (on-site).
- LovePop - $3 of every card sold donated to Strides when mentioning ACS (pop-up on site).
- Commonwealth Wine School - % of pink wine sale donated to Strides.
- Mint Julep – Any purchase of $100 or more will receive a pink leather cosmetic pouch (in-store 6/14).
- Le Macaron – 10% off macaron boxes (on-site).
- Noir - $1 of every “Fleur de Lys” cocktail sold donated to Strides for the entire month of June.
- Grafton Street Pub - $1 of every “Graton Street Cosmopolitan” donated to Strides during the entire month of June.
- Nubar – 100% of proceeds from every red berry opera cake sold donated to Strides (6/14).
- The Hourly Oyster Bar – “Pretty in Pink” cocktail available.
- The Attic – on-site selling clothing.
- Cambridge Health Alliance – on-site with information and resources.
- Cambridge Savings Bank – Will display pink lights.
