Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both women and men. Join Drs. Kelley-Hedgepeth and Lewis as they present a brief overview of common cardiac conditions, including coronary atherosclerosis, heart failure and atrial fibrillation. They will review the treatments for these chronic heart diseases and the impact of lifestyle and other strategies to stabilize disease. After their talks, they’ll welcome your questions.
Dr. Kelley-Hedgepeth is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Echocardiography. She has extensive experience in diagnosing, preventing and managing coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias. Dr. Lewis is an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Her professional interests include cardiac imaging, preventive cardiology, women’s cardiac health, and general cardiology issues including coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease.
