Brent plays electric guitar and some bass. He grew up absorbing the music of his parents’ vinyl LPs and keeping his radio tuned into eclectic rock ‘n roll stations. He started playing guitar in junior high in a band that performed at dances, and began writing songs at age 10. He’s been trying to write that next “Great American Song” ever since. His influences are diverse and include shades of new and old folk, rock, alt-country, traditional country, reggae, real jazz, world music and what ever’s interesting on college radio. He lives in Waltham with his charming wife, lovely daughter, brilliant son, and his motley collection of guitars and amps.
