An off-beat comedy that unravels notions of family, race and giving away the store.​


Meet the sweet, trashy and slightly hot Kathy, the newly widowed owner of a hardware store. Kathy hasn't quite been herself lately... Not only did she yarn bomb the family hardware store (which, if it were a craft store, would have been FANTASTIC), she also gave it away to a complete stranger. Needless to say, her big mouthed-college-age daughter is just a tad PO'd, and she wants the store back. This brand-new play by Maine playwright Callie Kimball examines the pushes and pulls of family, community and race in a funny and heartfelt way.
