“All waves of one ocean” is a meditative gathering that reflects on ideas from Yolanda He Yang’s solo exhibition “Silent Symphony: A Tribute to Tears” at UVA Arthaus Gallery. Facilitator and musician Erin Shea Hogan will lead a mindfulness workshop with journaling prompts and guided meditation. Musician Denver Nuckolls will perform his piece “lacrimilas”which he composed in honor of Yolanda’s and his extensive collaboration. Guests will then be invited to meditatively walk through the exhibition. Please bring your journal and/or a cushion for meditation, if you can! We will have these available in the space, too.
