Join us for an evening of conversation (and consumption). Beer historian Liz Garibay will discuss the role of beer at the 1893 World’s Fair. Learn how brewers were advancing an array of technologies during this period, drink in the story of how a major beer war took place on the grounds of the Fair's Agricultural Building, and absorb fascinating facts about how beer shaped our nation. After the talk, enjoy a variety of beers and explore All the World Is Here: Harvard’s Peabody Museum and the Invention of American Anthropology, the exhibition celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology.
