On Tuesday, March 4th at 2 PM, First Congregational's group Circle 4 invites you to an inspiring presentation about a Jewish Hungarian immigrant with a high school education, Anna Marie Rosenberg.
Her unlikely but true story of how she rose to be the confidante of not only FDR but of subsequent presidents will amaze you. The crucial role she played in WWII as well as her influence in working with unions, her stint as Assistant Secretary of Defense and many other parts of her story will help you understand why it is so important for us to remember her now - particularly during Women's History Month. As LIFE Magazine called her, "far and away the most important woman in American government."
Come and hear Christopher Gorham, a former lawyer and current high school teacher tell the story of Anna Marie Rosenberg - The Confidante: The Untold Story of the Woman WhoHelped Win WWII and Shaped Modern America.
Join us in the narthex at 2 pm: 121 West Foster Street, Melrose. Side-of-street parking is abundant.
