Do all sheep produce wool?
What is the difference between cashmere and wool?
Why do the sheep rotate pastures?
How is wool processed?
Find out the answers to these questions and more at All About Sheep! Learn about the journey from sheep to sweater. Touch wool at various stages of processing, and try your hand at the carding brush and drop spindle! Pick your favorite color of bright wool roving, and try hand-spinning your very own yarn. After learning about sheep and wool, see if you can spot our sheep out on the farm! If we’re lucky, we’ll have new spring lambs to visit!
This is not a drop-off program; adult supervision is required.
This is a family-friendly program best suited for families with children ages 4 and up.
Please note DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED at Chestnut Hill Farm.
