Feldman Geospatial has put together a cool jazz series at Long Live Roxbury, a new craft brewery located at 152 Hampden Street in Boston (entrance is on George Street around the corner of the building). The lineup includes Alex Alvear & Mango Blue Saturday, March 9 at 7 PM.


Alex Alvear & Mango Blue Features:


Mango Blue blends an exciting mixture of musical styles to create a refreshing Afro-Latin/world music sound, featuring songs of celebration and social conscience.


Mango Blue is a high-powered, all-original music ensemble led by Alvear who is an Ecuadorian composer, bassist and singer. The band's stylistic fusion creates music that transcends ethnic boundaries, providing a new color in the Latin music palette. Band members come from all over, including Venezuela, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador and the United States.
