Join Tonno Wakefield on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 6:30 PM at Tonno Wakefield’s restaurant for an agave tasting hosted by Michael Ray from Proximo and Brittany Acca from Diageo. This evening comes complete with a pairing of Cinco de Mayo inspired tacos to enhance the flavors of the featured tequilas and offer attendees an authentic Cinco de Mayo experience.
Attendees at this event can expect to enjoy a comparative agave tasting from five different upscale brands of tequilas, each with their own unique taste and all made from 100% agave. Featured at this tasting are Astral Blanco, 400 Conejos Mezcal, Maestro Dobel Diamonte, Don Julio Reposado, and Grand Centenario Anejo. Not only can attendees enjoy the delicious, smooth flavors of tequila in their glass, they can also fill their plates with Cinco de Mayo inspired dishes. Attendees can start their evening with Guacamole, Salsa, and Chips and then round out their evening with a Tuna Tartare Taco, Crispy Pork Belly Taco, or a Grilled Skirt Steak Taco. To wash it all down, Tonno will offer specialty cocktails featuring the tasting brands and a full beverage menu will be available.
