AN EVENING OF RAW AND RAUCOUS COMEDY AND STORYTELLING
Recounting anecdotes from her past as a virgin professional dominatrix in NYC with unashamed detail and intelligent commentary that centers on race, sex and capitalism, virtuoso storyteller and comedian Desiree Burch lays out a roadmap for escaping the cycle of silence and self-loathing that comes from always being taken for a ride. From dealing with sex in the workplace, to adventures in sex work, Desiree investigates the drives women have to stop sex from becoming work.
Called “a comedian deservedly on the rise” by The Guardian, Burch is the winner of the 2015 Funny Women Stage Award and host of the upcoming Netflix gameshow “Flinch.”
