Join us for an Afro-Fusion Dance class with guest presenter Melissa Alexis on Thursday, December 5, from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Based on the rhythms from Africa and the diaspora, Afro-Fusion Dance is a contemporary class where students explore full-body expression rooted in West African, Caribbean and American dance traditions.
The class is open to all and will focus on wellness, inclusive community, improvisation, fluidity across movement styles and self expression. We will move and then talk, illuminating our embodied learning and celebration in words.
