You can have up to three members on each team. We highly encourage team uniforms. The uniform can be anything from the same color shirts to appearing as the Sanderson Sisters. There will be prizes for best team uniform for each round.
Once the round begins, each team will come up to the microphone and be asked to spell a word. The team will have 10 seconds to confer and then one person will spell the word for the team. A definition OR sentence will be provided upon request.
For every word spelled correctly, the team will return to their seats.
For the first incorrectly spelled word, the team will return to their seats.
For the second incorrectly spelled word, the team will leave the stage and join the audience.
The last three teams on stage during each round qualify for the Championship Round.
When two teams remain on stage and a team spells a word incorrectly, the other team must spell both that word and one additional word correctly to win.
Team sign up is first-come, first-serve for each date. Please include all names of your team members to sign up. We also ask you to estimate how many audience members you will be bringing with you.
We will be awarding the following prizes:
A $20 Aeronaut gift card for the team with the best uniform
A giant trophy and $100 Aeronaut gift card for the Champions
