Join the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s (DCR) Universal Access Program (UAP) for a free, fun-filled day celebrating accessible outdoor recreation in Massachusetts state parks.
Family-friendly, accessible, and inclusive activities include: cycling with an assortment of adaptive cycles, hiking and letterboxing with all-terrain wheelchairs and walkers, face painting and kite decorating, sidewalk chalking, golf and other equipment demonstrations, bubble blowing and games, music, and much more. Find out about adaptive summer programs across the state!
Please pre-register, especially if you would like to go cycling or try other adaptive equipment. You can pre-register online, or by calling Universal Access at (857) 319-2168.
Volunteers are also welcome for help with face painting, cycling, hiking, adaptive games, refreshments, and other stations! To get involved, contact Mariah at [email protected] or (857) 289-4175
