Christopher Abrams presents Model Ci)zens, his newest offering of small-scale objects that fuse natural forms - rocks, trees, and other natural growths - with transportation and infrastructure. . Abrams’ nonsensical mashups raise sobering questons: has humankind forced nature into these hybrids?
Sally S. Fine presents Moon Tides, an exhibition of sculpture, drawings and paintings informed by the artist’s fascination with the moon, which ranges from the scientific to the lyrical and from the tactile to the abstract. The phases of the moon provide a predictable and comforting cycle in an unpredictable world, as do the ebb and flow of the ocean’s tides which are concurrent with the moon’s phases.
