Join MetroWest Climate Solutions on Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. for a webinar with Kirstie Pecci, Executive Director of Just Zero.
Trash is toxic. And burning and burying trash damages the climate, poisons communities, and endangers our environment. The fact is our country’s waste management practices are outdated and unsustainable. But there are zero-waste solutions available that can lead to transformative change.
Kirstie will outline how we can support zero waste strategies by:
· Ending plastic pollution and packaging waste;
· Opposing dangerous, inequitable facilities that burn or bury trash; and
· Fighting climate change by putting food and yard waste to good use.
