A must-see for lovers of American folk art, Historic New England’s Cogswell’s Grant was the summer home of collectors Bertram K. and Nina Fletcher Little. Mrs. Little preferred the term "country art" to "folk art", and dedicated a lifetime to researching the everyday people who made and used the objects she acquired.
The Littles decorated with an eye for visual delight rather than historical accuracy, and Cogswell's Grant is one of the only places where you can visit such a collection in the home for which it was assembled.
Join site manager Kristen Weiss for a virtual tour of Cogswell's Grant and the Littles' celebrated collection
Tickets $5. Free for Historic New England Members.
