A Romance Novel Comes To Life: An Evening With Three Emerson Alumni feat. All She Wrote Books

This event is presented by Emerson College's Master Class and Department of Writing, Literature and Publishing.

This Special Master Class on the making of A Gentleman’s Gentleman will be moderated by Amy L Clark, author and WLP affiliated faculty member (MFA in Creative Writing, Emerson, 2004), and will feature:

• TJ Alexander, novelist, Lambda Literary Award finalist, and author of the new trans Regency romance A Gentleman’s Gentleman (Vintage Books/Penguin Random House) (MA in Publishing and Writing, Emerson, 2007)
• Larissa Melo Pienkowski, literary agent, Azantian Literary Agency, and TJ Alexander’s agent who sold A Gentleman’s Gentleman to Vintage Books (MA in Publishing and Writing, Emerson, 2019)
• Julia Diaz-Young, marketing associate, Random House, and member of the marketing team for A Gentleman’s Gentleman (BS in Marketing Communication, Publishing Minor, Emerson, 2023

TJ Alexander will also be signing copies of their upcoming release A Gentleman's Gentleman, with books sold by All She Wrote Books feat. bookseller and alumni Ava Budavari (BS in Political Communication, Emerson, 2022).

About A Gentleman's Gentleman

The notoriously eccentric Lord Christopher Eden is a “man of unusual make” and even more unusual habits: he prefers to live far from the prying eyes and ears of the ton, and would rather have the comfortable company of his childhood cook and his aged butler than the swarm of servants and hangers-on befitting a man of his station. About the Author

TJ Alexander (they/them) is the author of Chef’s Kiss, Chef's Choice, Second Chances in New Port Stephen, and Triple Sec. They received their MA in Writing & Publishing from Emerson College, and they live in New York City with their wife and various houseplants.
