A Roaring Birthday Celebration For The Lion Brothers at Franklin Park Zoo

Conservation is at the heart of everything we do, so it’s only fitting that World Wildlife Day gets a wild celebration! World Wildlife Day aims to raise awareness of the incredible biodiversity of our planet, and here at Franklin Park Zoo, we’ll be focusing on Zoo New England’s commitment to conservation.

Throughout the day, there will be crafts, an education station and sustainable giveaways! All activities are included with general admission. 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Education Stations, Arts & Crafts in Tropical Forest  

10:30 a.m. – Crocodile Keeper Chat 

11:00 a.m. – Lion Keeper Chat  

11:30 a.m. – Field Conservation Presentation in Hippo Theater  

12:00 p.m. – Kea Keeper Chat  

1:00 p.m. – Mystery Animal Encounter in Hippo Theater  

2:00 p.m. – Gorilla Keeper Chat  

3:00 p.m. – Franklin Farm Keeper Chat
