Join The City of Quincy on July 9th from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on the Hancock-Adams Common as they cap off on their city-wide "Patriotic Celebrations" with Tom LaMark and his Orchestra for an evening of Patriotic and Great American Songbook music. Joining his orchestra is Quincy born Elaine DeLorenzo Spitz as the special guest vocalist.
Tom LaMark has played with jazz stars Dizzy Gillespie and Buddy Rich and some of the greats of show business including Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer, The Smothers Brothers and many more. LaMark has played at Carnegie Hall in New York City and on seven consecutive world cruises on both the Holland America and Royal Viking cruise lines.
The Tom LaMark Orchestra is an experienced ensemble of talented professional musicians and vocalists who have performed at The Museum of Fine Arts, The Boston Ballet, The Boston Symphony, Harvard Business School, Boston College, Northeastern University, The American Ireland Fund, The Children's Trust Fund, Combined Jewish Philanthropies and for thousands who have hired us for their special occasions.
Bring your dancing shoes! The Boston Lindy Hop Dancers will be back for a performance!
Bring your own blanket and chairs! There will also be food and beverages available for purchase from the Decanted Wine Truck (beer and wine), Bon Me Truck, Rockin Burgers Truck, and Montilio’s “Italian Pastries on the Go” Truck.
