On Saturday, September 21st at 3pm, join A Far Cry for Fleeting Melodies (their season opener) at St. John's! This concert honors music that lives in memory, drawing from Hungarian and Taiwanese folklore to celebrate cultural heritage through contemporary expression.
Repertoire includes Bartók’s String Quartet No. 3, Shih Hui Chen’s Returning Souls inspired by her time in Taiwan, Laszlo Weiner’s poignant Duo reflecting his tragic legacy, and Wei-Chieh Lin’s Pasibutbut, a prayer song from Taiwan’s Bunun people.
