She has written 38 titles under her pen name of Zane. She is a Film and Television Writer, Director, and Executive Producer, as well as a Publisher, Consultant, Podcaster, and a global brand. She has been in the Entertainment Industry for 25 years.
Kristina is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, including an NAACP Award and a Black Women in Media Award. She was recently named as one of the 100 Top African American Authors by USA Today. Jet Magazine named her one of the "Greatest African American Wordsmiths of All-Time."
I Wish I Never Met You, her second feature film, was released in May 2022, and has won numerous awards at film festivals globally, including Best Picture in Hungary and Best International Film by a Female Filmmaker at the International Black & Diversity Film Festival in Toronto in July 2022. She wrote, produced, and directed the film as well as Killer B & B, her third film, and first horror film, that was filmed in July 2022 and is currently in post-production. Her first film was the Lionsgate theatrical release Addicted, which was based on one of her novels.
Kristina has a radio show on iHeart Radio entitled “Let Me Go Ask,” which has already been syndicated in London, England. She was on the Essence bestseller list more than any other author, often having four books on the list at the same time. She was the greatest selling author of all-time for the Black Expressions Book Club, selling more than one million copies of her titles through that outlet alone.
