1) NORTH END WATERFRONT TRELLIS LIGHTING

Date: Monday, 11/25 at 5pm

Info: 50,000 blue lights will illuminate 260 feet of trellis, along with 14 decorated trees nearby. Enjoy the holiday sing-alongs and a visit from Santa Claus, along with cookies, hot chocolate, and clam chowder.

2) FANEUIL HALL TREE LIGHTING

Date: Tuesday, 11/26 at 4pm

Info: An afternoon of holiday magic awaits at this year’s Faneuil Hall Tree Lighting Celebration featuring festive treats, special guest appearances, and a lively lineup of performances that will fill the season with cheer.

3) ANNUAL QUINCY TREE LIGHTING

Date: Friday, 11/29 at 5pm

Info: Kick off the holiday season in Quincy with the annual Tree Lighting at Hancock Adams Common. The evening features live music, a sing-along, and festive activities like stilt walkers, fire shows, and holiday treats. The night ends with the lighting of the tree and a visit from Santa.

4) ROSLINDALE TREE LIGHTING

Date: Saturday, 11/30 at 3pm

Info: Enjoy performances from local music and dance groups, ornament decorating, holiday treats, and a visit from Santa. Don’t miss the "Reindog" Costume Contest or a special performance by the Urban Nutcracker at 4pm

5) MARTIN'S PARK SHIP LIGHTING

Date: Saturday, 11/30 at 4pm

Info: Join Martin's Park in celebrating the holiday season with their fourth annual Ship Lighting in Seaport. Watch as the festive playship lights up, sip free coffee or hot chocolate, snap photos with Seaport’s own Betty the Yeti, and enjoy family-friendly entertainment. Arriving by boat, Santa will join in for the big countdown around 5:30pm.

6) CHARLES HOTEL ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING

Date: Saturday, 11/30 at 4pm

Info: Enjoy a festive evening with hot chocolate, cookies, crafts, and story time for kids. The tree lights up at 5:30pm with a special visit from Santa, followed by a performance of The Nutcracker. Bring a toy for the Toys for Tots drive and share in the holiday spirit.

7) 44TH ANNUAL ANDERSON TREE LIGHTING

Date: Sunday, 12/1 at 2pm

Info: Celebrate the Hyde Park tree lighting ceremony with carnival rides, festive treats, live performances, and family activities. Meet Frosty, the Grinch, and Santa after the tree lights at 5pm.

8) BEACON HILL TREE LIGHTING

Date: Thursday, 12/5 at 7pm

Info: The start of the holiday season in Boston commences with the illumination of Boston's official Christmas tree, as well as the trees adorning both Boston Common and the Public Garden.

10) COMM AVE MALL HOLIDAY LIGHTS

Date: Thursday, 12/5 at at 8pm

Info: This is one of, if not *the* biggest annual light installations in Boston. Following the Boston Common Tree Lighting, join the City of Boston and the Friends of the Public Garden for this special illumination. Enjoy complimentary cookies and hot chocolate provided by The Newbury.

11) LIGHT UP SEAPORT

Date: Friday, 12/6 at 5pm

Info: Mark your calendars for December 6, when Boston’s largest holiday tree will light up the Seaport. The event features live music, festive performances, and holiday cheer.

12) MENORAH LIGHTING SEAPORT

Date: Sunday, 12/29 at 4:30pm

Info: Celebrate Hanukkah in Seaport with a 9-foot menorah lighting, presented with Chabad of Downtown Boston. Enjoy traditional treats like kosher jelly donuts and chocolate gelt.
