Nothing says summer like strolling down a heavily trafficked Boston thoroughfare without the honking and yelling. The warm season heralds the start of Open Streets Boston 2024, when pedestrians flood walkways around Boston that are closed off to traffic and opened up to the community. Beyond stress free strolling, these events also often include performances, local vendors, food trucks, and more.
