As a back-to-school special, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), is introducing $5 film tickets for Boston-area college students. The new ticket rate launches on September 19 with a screening of Donnie Darko (2001), which kicks off the "Cult Classics" series at the Museum. Students from schools participating in the University Membership Program can purchase film tickets in person with a valid college ID.Following Donnie Darko, upcoming screenings in the ongoing "Cult Classics" series include The Craft (1996) on October 4 and Eraserhead (1977) on October 11. Also screening in October, the "Global Cinema Now" series highlights lauded new releases from Cannes, Venice, and other film festivals around the world.
