For the first time since before September 11, 2001, a “battle of the barges” fireworks show returns to Boston Harbor! Barges anchored off the North End and Seaport will illuminate the skyline with spectacular volleys set to music. Best viewing locations are East Boston’s Piers Park, Downtown’s Christopher Columbus Park and Long Wharf, and the Seaport’s Fan Pier. The fireworks and music will also be televised live on New England Cable News beginning at 8:30pm, with music also broadcast on MAGIC 106.7 beginning at 9pm EST.


You'll have a great view of the fireworks from anywhere along the waterfront in the North End, Downtown, South Boston and Castle Island, East Boston, and Charlestown. A barge anchored off Fan Pier on the South Boston Seaport Waterfront will provide the launching site.
