March 2 – April 6, 2020
Mondays, 5:00-7:00pm
The Lab at Teen Central at the Boston Public Library – Central Branch in Copley Square
Have you ever wondered how your favorite video game characters are made? Do you like computer animated movies and wonder how they come to life? Matt Dwane is a professional 3D artist who has worked on video games, manufacturing, and advertising. In this program, he will help guide you through various tools in Autodesk 3DS Max.
Design principles and 3D techniques are used to build quality models and props for anything from video games and movies to Architectural Visualization. You will learn to build, unwrap, and texture your own models, creating a final clean render for critique which touches on all the features of modeling by the end of the six-week program.
