Happy Pride Month! As the City of Boston comes alive for the summer months, tons of fabulous Pride events are on the horizon. Celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community with dance parties, festivals, panel discussions, drag nights, and so much more.

A Queer History Of The Women's Suffrage Movement

Info: Historian Wendy L. Rouse will re-frame the history of the Women’s Suffrage Movement by telling stories of queer participants in the cause and how their lived experiences were shaped by the social constraints of the time.

Info: Kick off Pride Month with a virtual author panel including Emery Lee (e/eir), Timothy Janovsky (he/him), Katee Robert (she/her), and Olivia Waite (she/her). The talented crew will discuss their novels and how they represent and connect with the queer community.

Info: Head to the Lamplighter Brewing Co. taproom for a special Pride-themed trivia night. Prizes include gift cards, a four pack of the Pride Month beer (called ‘Somebody to Love), and tickets to a drag event. 50% of proceeds from the evening benefit The Network/La Red, a survivor-led social justice organization supporting LGBTQIA+ victims of abuse.
Alexa…Kick Off Pride! Variety Show

Info: In this one variety show you can enjoy music, games, and a live dating show within the performance! There’s never a dull moment in this eclectic and comedic evening featuring some of Boston’s most beloved LGBTQIA+ performers.

Info: Join Sam Adams Brewery for the release of their Love Conquers Ale brew. The party will feature a performance by Queens with a Mission, a raffle for tickets to Fenway Pride Night, and tastings of the new ale. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Transgender Emergency Fund.
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
When: Thu, 6/2 at 7:25 p.m.
Where: Watertown
Info: Head to Watertown for a screening of this classic film, wherein two drag queens and a transgender woman are contracted to perform a show in a remote Australian town. As they travel across the desert, hilarity ensues.
ICA First Fridays: Back with Boudoir
When: Fri, 6/3 at 5 p.m.
Where: Seaport
Info: First Fridays return at the ICA with a raucous dance party celebrating Pride Month. Clink drinks by the ocean, listen to live poetry readings, and dance the night away to music DJ’d by Boston’s queer underground house and techno party Boudoir.

Info: The Watertown Pride festival kicks off with a mini parade that all are welcome to join and then features live music, speakers, a drag king emcee, crafts, dancing, and the gathering of local advocacy organizations for support, questions, and donations.
Pride Market by BWM x Night Shift Brewing

LGBTQ+ Silent Disco Pier Party Pride Party

Info: A silent disco party featuring 3 DJs and a drag performance at the open-air beer garden The Anchor in Charlestown Navy Yard. A portion of the door sales with go to Trans Emergency Fund & La Network Red.

Info: A full, live band will set the energetic tone for this town-wide Pride festival in Quincy. In addition, attendees can enjoy live drag performances, shop local LGBTQIA+ aligned vendors, and engage in crafts and activities celebrating the day.
PRIDE Drag Night at AERONAUT Somerville
When: Wed, 6/8 at 8 p.m.
Where: Somerville
Info: Local drag Queens Coleslaw and Severity Stone, and Drag King Travis Tí will take the stage at Aeronaut in Somerville for a drag show to end all drag shows. Grab a brew, dress to impress, and celebrate Pride Month with the fabulous energy only these monarchs can bring.

Info: March in celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community at the 25th Annual Boston Dyke March, an alternative Pride march inclusive to all populations. The march is ASL interpreted, and wheelchair, stroller and scooter accessible and happens rain or shine.
Silent Disco PRIDE PARTY on the Roof!
When: Fri, 6/10 at 6 p.m.
Where: Downtown Boston
Info: The roof deck at the Sam Adams Taproom downtown will be transformed into Pride haven for this Silent Disco party. Music will be streaming on 3 different channels and attendees, headphones on and beer in hand, will dance their hearts out.
PEM PRIDE After-Hours Dance Party
When: Fri, 6/10 at 7 p.m.

Info: Bring your boldest fashions to the dance floor at this after-hours Pride party at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem. Hear a panel conversation about LGBTQIA+ fashion history and then hit the dance floor with your own styles.

Info: The Boston Nature Center is giving a special talk about the science behind rainbows in honor of Pride Month. You’ll learn how rainbows are formed, grow your own rainbows, and go on a color walk through the beautiful Wildlife Sanctuary.
Boston's LGBTQ Past Walking Tour

Info: Learn how LGBTQIA+ history shaped the City of Boston on this informative walking tour. The tour starts at the Massachusetts State House and winds its way through Downtown Boston dropping interesting stories and fun facts along the way.

Info: Celebrate Pride Month with the first annual Pride Bar Festival. Enjoy Drag performances, DJs, live music, and queer markets at more than 10 venues around the Fenway neighborhood. Proceeds from the event benefit the Trans Resistance organization.

Sing We Our Tomorrow: A BCE Pride Concert

Info: This concert by the Boston Choral Ensemble features music by LGBTQIA+ composers such as Mari Esabel Valverde, Michael Bussewitz-Quarm, and Joan Szymko as well as spoken-word poetry and a timeline of queer history in the United States.

Info: There’s nothing quite like this sex-positive performance hosted by Ginny Nightshade and featuring a vast lineup of local drag kings. Part comedy, part self-dubbed smutfest, this is a way to celebrate Pride like no other.
Patty Bourrée’s Last Pride on Earth
When: Fri, 6/17 at 8 p.m.
Where: Watertown
Info: Boston drag and cabaret star Patty Bourrée will hit the stage in a dystopian-themed Pride performance. Follow along with Patty as she and a cast of colorful characters encounter the end of the world, and cope with copious song and dance.
Let’s Say Gay! A Community Pride Event

Info: LGBTQIA+ leaders from the Mosesian Center for the Arts and the Boston chapter of Drag Queen Story Hour will lead an afternoon of family-oriented activities celebrating Pride Month and promoting inclusivity and creativity.

Info: Toast to a happy Pride Month on this Faneuil Hall bar crawl featuring drink specials themed for the holiday. After visiting a series of bars in the crawl, dance the night away at the after party. A portion of the proceeds from the crawl will go towards The Trevor Project.
