Learn To Curl @ SNOWPORT

What: The Seaport’s winter activation, Snowport, is offering complimentary curing lessons on select Saturdays this winter. In case you’re expecting to curl on actual ice, you should know that lessons take place on an iceless curling rink.


Vinyasa Yoga + Nutrition Workshop

What: 10am at the W Hotel Boston in the Great Room. Enjoy a vinyasa flow followed by a recovery and nutrition workshop.


Winter Workout Series at Boston Park Plaza

What: Booty by Brabants’ founder, Kelly Brabants, is packing up the electric energy from her outdoor workout classes and bringing it to the Boston Park Plaza for the return of the Winter Workout Series. The class will benefit Boston Park Plaza's signature charity, the Highgate Charitable Foundation, followed by a KEEL vodka-hosted cocktail hour featuring a Booty by Brabants trunk show as well as exciting raffle items to benefit the charity of the evening.

What: BABEfit is a fitness class from The Boston Academy of Burlesque Education which combines burlesque flair with cardio dance. What: Grab your sweetie (or running friends) and join Boston Road Runners for a fun run downtown. Celebrate your Valentine weekend with few miles on the Charles River. Sweets and cupcakes for all runners.


Booty by Brabants Winter Workout Series

What: In honor of Booty by Brabants' five-year anniversary, Kelly will be spotlighting five different charities during the Winter Workout Series. The DJ Henry Dream Fund is honored to have been chosen for the February 25th workout. Hundreds of fitness enthusiasts will fill the room with amazing energy, all in the name of charity. Each class will be followed with a KEEL vodka low-calorie cocktail hour featuring a Booty by Brabants trunk show as well as raffle items.


HIITDANCE

When: Every Tue until 2/25
What: HIITDANCE is a cardio dance and HIIT fusion class. HIITDANCE will have you dancing, squatting, burpeeing, push-uping. You will move through several sets of HIIT intervals followed by cardio dance recovery intervals.


Taproom Yoga

What: The admission fee covers a group session with a Core Power instructor and your first beer from the tap.


Outdoor Ice Skating

What: The only non-workout workout you can find in the city. (Apparently, you can tone up your legs while burning 650 calories an hour while skating.)


November Project: Destination Deck

What: Location changes every week. “You’ll arrive in some random parking lot, park, or clearing in the forest where we’ll be gathering to start the workout.”


Tuesday Speed Workout

When: Every Tue through winter
What: Join Tracksmith for a free, coached workout. These workouts are designed for any runner looking to get faster. The workouts are timed by the Trackhouse coaches and include dynamic drills and stretching.


Harvard Stadium: Stairs - The November Project
Cost: FREE
When: Every Wed through winter
What: The weekly workout that started it all. On 11/11/11, Brogan & Bojan showed up to Harvard Stadium at 6:30am for a stair workout. At the time, they called it “The November Project” -- the name stuck and the rest is history. #justshowup


Remnant Run Club

What: Remnant runs will be casual, “all abilities welcome” 3-5 mile runs starting at Bow Market in Union Square and ending back at Remnant’s taproom.


Yoga at the Hyatt Regency Downtown

What: Accessible to all levels, with a power class on the first Wednesday of every month, this is a great way to add some self care and fitness to your weekly routine. Stretch, move, breathe and get centered with YogaPro Anna Saluti.


Intro to Zen Meditation at Cambridge Zen Center

What: The OG of weekly meditation sessions in the Boston area. A guided meditation sesh followed by a dharma talk. Afterwards, stick around for tea.


Cambridge Run Club or Brookline Run Club
Cost: FREE

What: Marathon Sports Run Clubs are free, all-inclusive weekly events. They track your mileage for you, and as you hit significant milestones you'll become eligible for a special Marathon Sports Running Group discount, unique members-only gear, and other great kickbacks.


November Project: Summit Ave

When: Every Fri through winter
What: Summit Avenue is a street that runs up Corey Hill on the Brighton–Brookline line. This workout covers a 4-mile long portion of the Brookline side.


Fun Dodgeball
Cost: $10-$15
When: Every Sat through winter
What: Fun Dodgeball will be in the Andrew Peabody School Gymnasium, located on the Cambridge/Somerville line. All levels are welcome. Happens every Saturday.


Yoga in the Beer Garden

What: Nothing speaks “new year, new me” like a yoga sesh in a brewery. Join other fellow yogis at Remnant Brewery for an hour of vinyasa flow followed by ice cold craft brews.


Free Tennis Lessons

What: Free lessons for beginner players, both kids (ages 5 and up) and adults at the same time, but on different courts. This is a drop-in program designed to introduce and reinforce fundamental skills.
