Prepare for the traditional Thanksgiving feast with these Thanksgiving-themed events happening around Boston this month. After the dishes for the Thanksgiving meal have been cleared the holiday season begins, add these post-Thanksgiving lighting celebrations to your list as well.


Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer at Boch Center

When: Friday 11/24-Sunday 11/26

Info: The whole family will love seeing beloved characters like Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, and Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster in this stage adaptation of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.

1) Gobble Gobble Gobble Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

Info: Raise money for local charities, and build up an appetite, during this 4-mile Thanksgiving day race starting in Davis Square. Proceeds benefit Somerville Homeless Coalition, Somerville High School Track, Dilboy VFW Veterans' fund, and Stride for Stride.
