No need to stress about where to eat dinner this week, we’ve got you covered. These new bars and restaurants are dishing out everything from stiff martinis and gluten-free pastries to Thai-inspired bar food and vegan ice cream. Happy eating!

1) Verveine


Where: Central Square-ish

Info: This beautiful new bakery from Chefs Monica Glass and Ken Oringer is totally gluten-free, although you’d never know it from how delicious the baguettes, sandwiches, and cookies are.


2) The Red Fox


Where: North End

Info: Your new favorite date night spot has arrived. This moody, underground North End hotspot features a robust Italian menu and a coming-soon back martini bar. 


3) Saigon Babylon


Where: Central Square

Info: Enjoy elegant Vietnamese cuisine and craft cocktails from the award-winning team behind Cicada and the Eaves while overlooking the city at this rooftop bar and restaurant.


4) Le Mari


Where: Back Bay

Info: Mediterranean shared plates are at the core of this menu from Chef Leigh Whittaker and Chef Jack Foley, served in rapid-fire style in a stylish setting.


5) Bar Fellini


Where: Fort Point

Info: Take a trip to Italy at this Italian-inspired cocktail bar that features a curated menu of mixed drinks as well as an Italian wine list. Matria (pictured above), a Northern Italian steakhouse, and Loyall Counting Room cocktail bar are also new concepts coming to the Intercontinental Hotel.


6) Amba

Info: Tucked into First Street Market, Amba is a Mediterranean-inspired café serving farm-fresh menu items, pastries, and rotisserie chicken. 


7) The Vermillion Club


Where: Downtown

Info: The Vermillion Club is the modern answer to a chophouse, featuring a diverse menu of steakhouse-inspired eats and more than 70 curated cocktails coming from the 55-foot bar that dominates the space. 


8) Cacao


Where: South End

Info: Stop in to this chocolate bar in the South End to pick up a few truffles for later or to sample their rich and flavorful hot chocolate and a flaky croissant in the cafe area.


9) La Padrona


Where: Back Bay

Info: Chic is the name of the game at La Padrona, the latest concept to open in the Raffles Hotel in Back Bay. The menu is an ode to fresh New England ingredients and cuisine.


10) Merai


Where: Brookline Village

Info: From the team at Mahaniyom comes a Thai-inspired dive bar in Brookline Village that offers innovative cocktails and a menu that fuses Thai flavors with classic Boston dive bar eats.


11) Headroom Hi-Fi Lounge


Where: Seaport

Info: At this moody lounge from the Trillium team, vibe out to vinyl beats, sip craft cocktails and beers, and snack on bites from a curated menu. 


12) Omi Korean Grill


Where: Back Bay

Info: This one’s for the hungry folks: Boston’s first all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ grill. Savor bottomless beef bulgogi, scallion pancakes, short ribs, and more. 


13) The Berkeley


Where: Back Bay

Info: This new spot in Hotel AKA Back Bay channels inspiration from French cuisine using fresh New England ingredients. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and craft cocktails.


14) Mood Restaurant


Where: North End

Info: Enjoy all day dining at this new BYOB North End spot serving Mediterranean-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 


15) Van Leeuwen Ice Cream


Where: Chestnut Hill

Info: Get a little fancy with your ice cream at Van Leeuwen where you can enjoy artisanal scoops of both regular and vegan ice cream in flavors like peanut butter brownie honeycomb and marionberry cheesecake.


16) Kyuramen


Where: Brookline

Info: This Japanese ramen chain has been serving up spicy, rich soups to dozens of locations around the globe. Now they’ve opened their first location in the Boston area. 


17) Abuela’s Table


Where: Jamaica Plain

Info: From the team behind Tu y Yo in Somerville, Abuela’s Table brings traditional Mexican dishes like mole rojo, tamales, tacos al pastor, and other delights to Jamaica Plain. 


18) Jahunger


Where: Cambridgeport

Info: This Rhode Island Uyghur restaurant opened a second location in Cambridge, serving up traditional dishes from this East Asian group including dumplings, stir fry, and more.


19) Nan Xiang Express


Where: South End

Info: Known for their soup dumplings, Nan Xiang Express has opened a second Boston location in the South End serving dumplings, Dim Sum, noodles, and more.
