Meet new friends while you find your next hobby with these 21 classes to help you get creative! Learn fun ways to express yourself while being in community with others. Here’s a list of some fun events and places to rely on anytime of the year for all things craft and inspiration.

Info: Sniffs of Adventure is one of my favorite queer businesses in the city. Their candle scents are based on memories shared between owners, Adam and Chris. You can learn how to make your own candles with friends during their 2-hour workshops.
2) Paint After Dark Experience
Where: Hyde Park
Info: This event is hosted multiple times per week at Canvas Studio, a black, female-owned business. Founded by Daphne, an early childhood mental health specialist, Canvas Studio brings creative and collaborative experiences like this one, which includes black light paint, karaoke, and stenciled canvases for easy, no-stress fun.

Info: Take a seat and pick your paints at the Brookline Clayroom. Choose from bowls, plates, vases, and figurines and decorate to your heart’s content. It’s the perfect pastime with friends!
4) Rug Tufting

Info: Rolls of colorful yarn await you and your friends! Tutuland will guide you on how to use a tufting gun so you can make your very own rug. Bring your own design or choose from the ones they have for one-of-a-kind room decor.
